Why the name Deborah?
Deborah was a woman of great spiritual and national influence in Israel during the time of Judges. She mediated disputes in her country and proved to be a wise judge. When the leader of the army refused to go into battle without her – she stepped forward. Her nation was set free because of her bravery and spiritual insight. We want to walk in her steps. Inspire
Deborah’s Daughters is a time of personal discovery and inspiration. Who are you? What is your passion? How has God designed you to fulfill the destiny He has designed for you. You will discover your personality type, more about your spiritual gifts, your attachment style and other qualities about you as a person.
Encourage
Growing in the Christian life requires encouragement. Those more mature in their walk with the Lord can speak faith and encouragement in our lives. We move forward as our arms are linked together. We want each Deborah’s Daughter to be in the Word, memorizing it, and praying. Our goal is that you draw closer to your Savior throughout this year and embrace what He was for you.
Support
Every woman has dreams and desires for her future. God tells us that he has equipped us for every good work he has called us to do. Deborah’s Daughters wants you to be supported as you seek out your goals and dreams. If you are not sure of your goals, we want to use life coaching tools to aid you in your quest. We want to be your cheering squad as you move forward in the way God is asking. Mature leaders will be praying for you and encouraging you to step forward in God’s strength. A woman’s world can be very challenging. Deborah’s Daughters wants to be an oasis where refreshment and support is found.
Belong
You will be on a 12 month journey with a small group of women. This small group serves as a safe place to belong. We will encourage you, walk with you, speak truth, and become friends. Once a month we will get together for a meal together and book discussion and prayer. On the other three weeks of the month you will be meeting with your accountability partner once a week. Your accountability partner changes every month. By the time the year is over you will have met with each person in the group and will discover the richness of each person.

“At a time in my life where I was being dragged in a thousand directions, I was introduced to the amazing ministry of Deborah’s Daughters. I had been looking for something, though I wasn’t sure what, but I knew God wanted me to use my blessings to bless others…to reach out and use my life experience and my relationship with Him to help other women deepen their faith and know who they are in Christ. When I began my journey as a “daughter,” I watched my own faith re-root itself.
Hardships came during that year…a close friend struggling with depression, my home flooding twice, and just the daily trials of being a wife and raising four children. And here I had a group of women walking with me, praying with me and for me, learning alongside me, and helping me to use those hardships as tools for my own ministry.
Each month I met with my group I watched as a group of ladies who had only met a short time ago became closer to each other and to the Lord. And these relationships were not superficial, but they became friendships with depth and breadth—we shared our lives and watched God knit us together. At the end of our time together, I had grown and matured and had the confidence to walk alongside and mentor other women. Being in Deborah’s Daughters was an opportunity to further the process of God shaping my character to be like His, but also an opportunity to become equipped to help others in their own process…blessed to be a blessing. “ -From Kelly
ABOUT THE INNER-HEALING RETREAT

“What a weekend! I can say when the weekend started I was wondering where I was going to find healing? And then Saturday night came and – wow – God clearly showed me the stronghold my sister had over me. Forgiveness was never thought of, because she is who she is. Wrong thinking! Prayer with Wanda & Marie, Wow! The soul-tied prayer had a powerful impact. Ever since I prayed that prayer I do not feel the sense of judgement when I speak to my sister.
